MEET OUR TEAM
Blake Carpenter serves as Executive Director of Level Up Kansas, bringing more than a decade of experience in aerospace engineering, military leadership, and public service.
Carpenter serves as a Captain and Flight Commander with the Kansas Air National Guard's 184th Wing and is Speaker Pro Tempore of the Kansas House of Representatives, representing Derby and portions of Sedgwick County. His work has focused on workforce development, career and technical education, and economic growth. Prior to public service, he worked as an electrical design and analysis engineer in the aerospace and defense industry, giving him firsthand insight into the workforce needs of Kansas employers.
