Four Western Kansas community colleges have signed a new collaborative agreement designed to expand educational access, strengthen workforce development, and better serve students across the region.
Dodge City Community College, Colby Community College, Garden City Community College, and Seward County Community College formally signed the Western Kansas Consortium Memorandum of Agreement during a legislative luncheon at Garden City Community College on December 4.
The agreement creates a framework for the colleges to work together on shared initiatives such as faculty and resource sharing, coordinated purchasing, shared academic programs, and access to specialized equipment. Leaders say the collaboration will help maximize resources while improving educational opportunities for students and communities.
With more than a century of combined service, the four institutions aim to build a more connected, future-ready Western Kansas.
