FAA Part 107: Commercial Drone Pilot Boot Camp

June 22-26, 9 AM to 4 PM

Butler Community College

Take flight with Butler June 22–26, 2026, at the El Dorado Campus! In this intensive one-week course, earn your FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate while mastering airspace rules, safety procedures, and flight operations. Get hands-on experience using your own drone or a Butler-provided one. Ideal for construction, real estate, agriculture, public safety, and more. Only 12 spots—register today!

Weekend Welding Workshop: MIG, TIG, Stick

July 11-August 1, 9 AM to 4:30 PM

Butler Community College

Career and Workforce Education now offers a 4-day, non-credit, fast-track Saturday program that lets you learn the skills and safety practices to perform various types of welding on carbon steel.

Learn 1 of the following:

Gas metal arc (GMAW)
Gas tungsten arc (GTAW)
Shielded metal arc (SMAW)

This approach will allow individuals, both employed and those looking for employment, to advance their career in a manner that works around the demands of their schedule. It’s also a great way for hobbyists to learn basic welding safety and skills.
